The New Start Boutique provides free interview clothing and more! This program gives a helping hand to those who are re-entering the job market. Appropriate clothing is provided for the interview. Once clients are employed, they can receive additional work clothes for the rest of the work week free of charge. New Start Boutique also providespersonal care products, accessories, interview tip sheets, mini seminars featuring interview skills/ appearance and free resumes for those who can not produce their own.

Last month I was referred to your New Start Boutique program and want to thank you for the memorable experience.I had worked in a machine shop for eight years leaving me with a wardrobe of jeans and t-shirts. I had one outfit that I had been wearing to interviews but its suitability was questionable. My career counselor then referred me to the Community Clothes Closet. I was nervous about the quality of the clothes; not to mention the shame of asking for help. However, when I walked in the door I felt immediately welcomed. Your staff/volunteers were friendly and treated me with respect. I was given a personal shopper and advised on the programs benefits. Not only was I able to gain a magnificent suit for work but was treated like a queen for a day in an atmosphere that felt more like a boutique than a charity. You gave me the confidence to ace my next job interview and I can say I’m now proud fully employed again!
