(Executive Director):” I feel so privileged to be part of
such an amazing organization that meets so many needs in
our community. Our team (staff) is incredible! They work
hard and give willingly to make our program happen. The Board
of Directors consist of a wealth of seasoned business leaders
providing the professional edge necessary to maintain a grassroots
non- profit organization. The volunteers are an inspiration
to me; it is joy to work with them every day! There isn’t
a day that goes by that I am not impressed by the generosity
of our community to help those in need.”
John (Operations Manager): “I
enjoy being around the volunteers. They are people that come
week after week, year after year with a smile and a willing
attitude to help others. There are some special moments that
in years to come I will always remember; like the smile on
a child’s face when receiving a new pair of pants or shirt
for their fist day in school.”
Lorraine (Operations Assistant): “Hi I’m Lorraine, the operation
assistant. Working at the CCC is different every day. You
never know what to expect although you always know there
will be a smile on the volunteer faces and a thank you from
our clients.”
Vickie (Project Coordinator): “Being
the Project Coordinator for the CCC is the most rewarding
job I’ve ever held. The satisfaction of being involved in
a project, event or programs from start to finish gives me
a sense of fulfillment and appreciation for what we do in
the community. With the help from donors, staff and volunteers
I get to see first- hand what the CCC can do for our community
and it makes me proud of where I work and the people I work
alongside. I feel so blessed to be able to help others and
fortunate to belong to such a compassionate organization."
Jenny (Administrative Assistant): “I love being at the CCC
because of the people. The staff and volunteers are wonderful
to work with and I enjoy knowing that we are helping to make
our clients lives a little easier.”
Patrick (Development/Outreach Coordinator): “As a recent
addition to the Community Clothes Closet staff, I enjoy the
privilege of being part of this wonderful group of staff
and volunteers. What I love most about working here is the
feeling I get from knowing how important our efforts are
in improving the lives of people within our community.”
Abe (Operations Assistant): “I
am drawn to the Clothes Closet because of its unique vision;
it allows its clients to shop at the 'store'. And it’s all
done through a few employees, many volunteers, and the many
generous people and businesses of the Fox Valley and beyond.”
